Description

The Diract Voice Light Avalanche Kit from Ortovox combines an intuitive avalanche beacon with the Pro Light avalanche shovel and the Alu 240 Light Probe.

The Diract Voice Avalanche Beacon from Ortovox is a further development that goes a significant step further. It guides you through the search in nine languages so that you can attend to the rescue with all your senses. A post-avalanche switch is integrated into the device as a matter of course, as is a multiple burial function for up to four people and a marking function for people who have already been found.

A Recco reflector has also been built into the supplied holder, making it even easier for rescue teams to find you.

You can also fine-tune and update the device with the Ortovox app. Available for Apple® iOS™ and Android™.

The Ortovox Alu 240 Light avalanche probe is a lightweight, compact and robust avalanche probe. Practical details such as the easy-to-read depth markings and the apparent one-metre markings, and the functional Quick-Lock quick-clamping system make the handling of Ortovox probes intuitive and efficient. In addition, the probe comes in the uncomplicated Quick Release sheath.

There are ultralight shovels, stable, solid shovels, and now there is the perfect combination of both with the Ortovox Pro Light avalanche shovel! With a meagre weight of only 440 grams, it is one of the lightweights and finds a place in even the smallest ski touring backpack with its compact pack size.

But that is nothing too unusual. What is ingenious is that this shovel works just as well as its more massive colleagues. This is the high side walls and the pronounced central web, which make the shovel blade very stiff despite the recesses. And thanks to the recesses, the shovel can be used to build a rescue sledge and as a snow anchor - a real innovation!
