<p>The new edition of the Scarpa Phantom Tech HD are alpine mountain boots with an integrated gaiter for technically demanding terrain in high mountains as well as for mixed and ice climbing.</p> <p>Thanks to the H-Dry® membrane, the expedition mountain boot is waterproof and breathable. It also has a high-quality PrimaLoft® lining for the necessary insulation in freezing cold conditions. The gaiter with its diagonal, water-repellent zip and snug-fitting cuff offers perfect protection against moisture, snow, ice and wind. Lightweight and extremely robust upper material underneath the gaiter is prepared for tough use in the high mountains. </p> <p>For optimum torsion control and excellent power transmission to the edges and toe, the sole construction features a lightweight sole made from several layers. The top and bottom of the insole are made from cushioning and insulating EVA. Stable TPU crampon mounts at the front and rear, the high-quality PU midsole and the Vibram® Mont tread sole ensure reliable performance of the Phantom Tech HD for all alpine challenges above 4000 metres.</p>
