Description

The Scott Orbit touring boot is a versatile all-round touring ski boot, which also impresses with long ascents beyond the thousand meter elevation mark.

"If no ski touring boot fits, try one from Scott", says many an expert in the shops. There can hardly be any greater praise in terms of fit. And the Orbit touring boot is no exception. A width of 103.5 mm in the last is an unmistakable sign of comfort. But that's not the only marker, that makes for the great fit of this boot, the great wearing comfort and above all walking comfort further speak for themsleves.

The inner shoe can be thermally adjusted if required. The innovative 2 buckles/strap system fixes the foot quickly and easily in the shoe. With 60° shaft mobility when walking, the climbing aid is rarely used and even the annoying opening of the upper shaft buckle is largely passé. With just over 1200 grams per shoe, the Orbit is pleasantly light and does not hang like a block on your leg, even on long tours. The Tech-Inserts are Dynafit® certified and compatible with almost all pin bindings.

The Vibram® sole provides excellent grip on walking passages, for example for when boot packing the last few metres to the summit.

But the touring boot also convinces on the descent. With a flex index of 110 and a slightly higher shaft, the Scott Orbit delivers a solid downhill performance, with a power transmission that is normally reserved for three- and four-buckle boots. This means that comfort-oriented touring skiers, especially on medium-wide skis, will have a lot of fun - both on piste tours and backcountry terrain.

With the Scott Orbit touring boot you have a real "all-round carefree package" on your feet.
